Assaf Completes Film Thursday

(JORDAN - 10/30/06) Independent filmmaker Rifqi Assaf puts final
touches on his latest short film Thursday.

Written by Rifqi Assaf and Salah Adel, the 6 minuet drama/mystery is
about friends who share the same physical space but in two different
times. The film cast includes Salah Adel, Odeh Ammareen, and Hamed
Muhtaseb.

"It was my most challenging film to date" said Rifqi Assaf who also
directed Amman in Red and co-directed The Last Patch, which screened
at the Izmir International Short Film Festival, Turkey; the
International Panorama of Independent Film and Video, Greece;
and the Jordan ShortFilm Festival. "With Thursday, I was trying to
sharpen my storytelling and directing abilities," Assaf continued.
