Scratch Campaign

April 12, 2010: The first Scratch competition

In an effort to promote creative self-expression for children and teenagers in disadvantaged communities, the Amman Filmmakers Cooperative in partnership with MicroNAS Initiative and a group of educators have embarked on a campaign to introduce Scratch in selected areas.

Scratch is a revolutionary learning tool developed by a team of dedicated people at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Lifelong Kindergarten.

More Scratch projects by workshop students and hobbyists will be added to this page. Any project can be posted here whether it's a game, animation, video art, or any work that does not fit into these categories.

Send your Scratch project files to JordanianFilms{at}gmail.com and we will post them for you so others can download them. Provide your name, email and photo if you would like for us to include them next to your project(s).
